Duff & Phelps Institute Chief Strategist Chris Campbell joins Yahoo Finance’s "On the Move" to talk about the coronavirus pandemic and market volatility.
“Clearly no one knows where the bottom is,” Chris said. “As more people are going to be able to be diagnosed, we’re going to see an uptick in the number of people who’re affected. The market’s going to respond; it’s going to horribly affect supply chains which is going to affect earnings. This is going to be a potential challenge for quite some time. Clients are just genuinely concerned.”
Chris further added that when we’re beyond this crisis, we’ll see that the Fed made the right decision in moving early and decisively to ease the credit markets and to demonstrate they’re in control of the monetary policy. “It’s now time for fiscal policy to kick in,” he said.
