Kraft Heinz’s Goodwill Charge Tops Consumer-Staples Record
Carla Nunes, Managing Director in the Valuation Advisory Services practice at Duff & Phelps, was quoted in the Wall Street Journal’s CFO Journal discussing Kraft Heinz Co.’s $7.3 billion goodwill impairment, citing it as the largest write-down in the U.S. consumer staples industry in the last decade.
“This goodwill impairment alone is greater than that entire sector over the last three years,” she said.
