New York – Duff & Phelps, the global advisor that protects, restores and maximizes value for clients, today announced that Brent Tomlinson has been appointed Managing Director and Head of Corporate Mergers and Acquisitions, leading global strategy for the firm’s corporate development activity.
Tomlinson most recently led strategy and growth for Duff & Phelps' Business Services business unit, executing and integrating several key acquisitions. Tomlinson joined Duff & Phelps with the firm’s acquisition of Prime Clerk, where he had served as Chief Strategy Officer since 2018 and played an integral role in negotiating and executing the company’s sale to Duff & Phelps.
Tomlinson has over ten years of M&A and corporate development experience. Brent started his career as an associate at Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP where he focused on M&A and securities transactions and subsequently worked at Latham & Watkins LLP as an associate focused on M&A. After that, he was a Principal at Centerview Partners, a leading investment banking and advisory firm, before joining Prime Clerk in 2018.
