Alan Brill Quoted in WSJ Pro Cybersecurity on Supply Chain Cyber Risk

As reliance grows on third-party vendors so has the risk of regulatory action and reputational damage arising from third-party security or privacy breaches.

Due diligence is now a critical activity in third-party risk management and vendor surveys have long been favored to examine their security posture. However, vendor surveys offer a limited, often static overview. Alan Brill, Senior Managing Director in the Cyber Risk practice of Kroll, a division of Duff & Phelps, was quoted in the Wall Street Journal’s Pro Cybersecurity newsletter discussing the need for organizations to reconsider how they measure and monitor vendors’ security posture.
