Our Commitments

Our global workforce is committed to bringing together diversity of thought to challenge each other and work shoulder to shoulder for greater good.

At Kroll, we believe that a more equitable and sustainable future matters. This isn’t a box we check; it’s a philosophy ingrained in who we are and what we do. We owe our success to a dedicated focus on promoting inclusivity and diversity, protecting our environment, empowering our people to make positive change and operating with transparency and good governance.

By creating communities where we work, live and connect, we enable our people and businesses to reach their full potential and achieve exceptional outcomes, together.

Inclusion and Diversity

Kroll's Chief Inclusion and Diversity Officer William Rolack hosted an inspiring discussion with Dr. Opal Lee, whose lifelong work as an activist led to #Juneteenth being recognized as a federal holiday in the United States.

We are committed to building a workplace environment that fosters and advances Inclusion and Diversity (I&D) practices. We believe that bringing together diversity of thought, background, culture and experience is critical to developing high-performing teams, advancing and supporting our colleagues and driving exceptional results for our clients.

Kroll is powered by the unique experiences and insights each person brings to work every day. To be the best that we can be, it’s essential that every voice is respected, heard and valued. Dignity for all employees underlies these ways of being and ensures that I&D is meaningful across the firm. Kroll’s I&D team, employee-led networks and taskforces and executive leadership sponsorship help shape and implement global strategic initiatives to build a community where we celebrate similarities and learn from our differences.

In 2023, Kroll launched a discussion series where colleagues can talk about critical issues that are shaping our world, both inside and out of the workplace. Kroll Conversations features colleagues and guest speakers and prompts thoughtful exchanges on culture, charitable work, Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG), sociopolitical topics and other issues.

We are proud to have achieved a perfect score of 100 out of 100 on the Human Rights Campaign’s Corporate Equality Index, the national benchmarking tool on corporate policies, practices and benefits pertinent to LGBTQ employees.

In 2023, Kroll was named to Exelon’s Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Honor Roll for the fifth year in a row in recognition of our achievements in prioritizing these practices. Kroll ranked first in the category of professional services providers for the third year in a row.

I&D is imperative to the well-being of our people, clients and business. But these efforts without a thoughtful, global strategy is an empty promise. That's why we brought in visionary leadership, strengthened our employee network groups and celebrated our people to create a more inclusive workplace for everyone.

Kroll Supplier Diversity Program

Kroll Supplier Diversity Program

Our focus on diversity of ideas and experiences as a key driver of success also extends to the outside organizations we partner with as part of our procurement strategy. Diverse suppliers are a critical component of our value chain, supporting both day-to-day company operations and our ability to deliver optimal results to our clients. Our Supplier Diversity Program operates through a cross-functional team representing Commercial Operations, Procurement, Finance, Inclusion & Diversity, Environmental and Communications.

We are committed to providing fair and equitable opportunities to all capable suppliers. We believe that working with a strong network of diverse suppliers helps advance economic growth and development in the communities we collectively serve. Further, partnering with diverse suppliers is one way we are fostering diversity, equity and inclusivity at Kroll.

Philanthropy – Kroll Charitable Foundation and Kroll Cares

For us, Kroll Cares is more than just a phrase—it’s a promise. A promise that care toward our colleagues and communities drives our decisions, informs our actions and shapes our shared purpose. To make a positive and ongoing impact as an organization, Kroll supports our communities and the causes that most align with our values through the Kroll Charitable Foundation and colleague-level engagement. This includes volunteering, lending our skills through pro bono projects and giving in-kind donations. Since its launch in 2018, the Kroll Charitable Foundation has distributed millions of funds to hundreds of charities worldwide. The Kroll Charitable Foundation is committed to nurturing innovative ideas, impacting economic and social issues and enabling progress in underserved communities around the globe.

We support non-profit organizations that:

  • Align with the firm’s core values
  • Support inclusion and diversity
  • Address critical needs or disaster response in areas where Kroll employees live and work
  • Promote financial literacy and opportunity

The Kroll Charitable Foundation introduced the Kroll Cares program in 2022 to empower our colleagues to donate and take action in support of causes they care most about. In 2023, we continued to amplify this program and collectively supported 400+ causes and volunteered 10,000+ hours of our time.
