Niall Cribben is a managing director in the Dublin office and leads the firms Valuation Advisory practice in Ireland. He focuses on the valuation of shares, businesses, and intangible assets servicing many of Dublin’s alternative investment managers such as private equity, hedge funds and private debt funds. He also works with international corporate clients who have Irish operations.

He has experience in valuations across a number of areas including purchase price allocations, dispute resolution, tax valuations, portfolios of illiquid loans, collateralized non-performing loans, securitized assets, and equity interests. As part of Duff & Phelps' Valuation Advisory practice, he is also in a position to offer valuation related services such as assisting clients with sale mandates, vendor due diligence, transfer pricing advice, business strategy, planning and modelling and commercial due diligence.

Niall joined Duff and Phelps from a large accountancy firm where he was a Senior Manager in the Restructuring division in Dublin for six years, managing a large portfolio of clients. Prior to that, Niall held senior roles in the audit division of the same firm. 

Niall is a Chartered Accountant and holds a Diploma in Corporate Finance and a Diploma in Insolvency at Chartered Accountants Ireland. He previously lectured in the area of Financial Accounting for Accounting Technician’s Ireland.
