Mark Kramer is a Managing Director and a senior member of the firm's Transaction Advisory Services since 2007, based in the Chicago office. In addition, he leads the Transaction Advisory Services Healthcare practice. He leverages more than 35 years of experience in advising business acquisition transactions. Prior to joining the firm 20 years ago, Mark spent the majority of his career at a Big 4 accounting firm.

Mark is responsible for all aspects of the due diligence process, from analysis of financial performance to evaluation of operating and deal concerns as well as post-deal integration. He specializes in complex and cross-border transactions. His expertise focuses on cash analyses, such as cash waterfalls, reimbursement, cohort analyses and other analyses that quantify the delay in cash collection from service rendered or debt issued. Mark has also served as an expert witness in working capital, due diligence, cost of service, and costing methodologies.

Mark received an MBA in management from Lake Forest Graduate School of Management. He also holds a BS in accounting from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He is a Certified Public Accountant and holds FINRA Series 63 and Series 79 licenses.
