Roy Parks is a Senior Director in Kroll’s Security Risk Management practice, based in the Reston office. Roy brings to clients 38 years of professional experience in security-related systems with an emphasis on project management, conceptual and design development of physical and electronic security measures, and phased/sequenced implementation for government, transportation, healthcare, education, corporate, and industrial facilities, as well as executive estates and exclusive residential projects.
In addition, Roy has 29 years of supervisory, managerial, and training responsibilities, including project programming and management, security solution design, bid process, and construction administration of an extensive number of complex security projects into which were incorporated a diverse range of equipment for both public and private sectors.
Through his extensive experience, Roy has acquired an in-depth working knowledge of manufacturers’ products applicable to security solutions design and integration of systems, including enterprise access control, intrusion detection, biometrics, intercommunications, video surveillance, video analytics, recording systems, and command and control environments.
Roy has conducted numerous security assessments that resulted in recommendations that effectively mitigate risk and enhance the security posture at client facilities.
Roy has contributed his security systems consulting and design expertise for a substantial number of projects encompassing aviation/transportation, corporate and financial, healthcare, education, communications, utility/energy, oil/petroleum, military, multi-use/multi-tenant high-rise properties, and executive residences.
