Reshmi Khurana Quoted in Business Times on Singapore’s Regulatory Framework for Point-to-Point (P2P) Transport Sector

Reshmi Khurana, Managing Director and Head of Southeast Asia in the Business Intelligence and Investigations practice of Kroll, was quoted in The Business Times discussing Singapore’s new regulatory framework for the point-to-point (P2P) transport sector.

According to the licensing regulations, ride-hail and street-hail providers with a fleet size of over 800 vehicles will need to be licensed by the end of October. Experts believe that this will level the uneven playing field between taxi and ride-hailing companies and provide drivers with more options.

Commenting on this update, Reshmi mentioned that Singapore has been “ahead of the curve” in terms of regulatory clarity compared to other Southeast Asian countries.
