Richard Dailly

Managing Director

Richard Dailly is a managing director for Kroll's office in Mumbai, India. He has many years of experience working in international politics and political risk for the British Government and Kroll. Richard has a deep understanding of investigative and intelligence techniques and analysis in support of corporate investigations, due diligence, political risk, litigation support, and managing complex and varied multijurisdictional cases.

A former British diplomat, Richard joined Kroll in early 2005 with experience in the Middle East, specifically regarding Iraq and Islamic terrorism. From the late 1990s, Richard studied Iraq and counter terrorism in many different capacities for the British government. Immediately after the 2003 Iraq war he was based in Basra, providing political support to the British army. Richard was deeply involved in support of the British Government's efforts against the insurgency in Iraq. He has also worked on counter terrorism in the wider Middle East and the UK, and has experience working in Eastern Europe, the Balkans and FSU states.

After spending two years in Kroll's London office, Richard established Kroll's Mumbai office in April 2007 and is focused in building a growing office in one of the world's most exciting emerging markets.

Richard is an experienced interviewer and is confident operating in hostile environments.

Professional Experience

• Political Risk. Richard has managed high-profile political risk and security intelligence projects in the Middle East and the Indian subcontinent.
• Due Diligence. Richard has run a number of due diligence investigations, enabling clients to minimize their own risks and make informed business decisions before entering into new business relationships.
• Litigation Support. Richard has worked closely with legal counsel on a number of complex multijurisdictional cases in support of litigation involving detailed investigations in a variety of sectors.
• Fraud. Richard has worked on a number of major fraud investigations in Europe and Asia.
