Jack Clode is a managing director in Kroll's Business Intelligence & Investigations (BI&I) division in Hong Kong. His team mainly conducts work in Hong Kong, Mainland China, Taiwan, Macau and Australia, and also works on global research projects.

With over 10 years at Kroll as a front line investigator, case manager and office head, Jack supports clients across the broad range of Kroll’s services, including due diligence, business intelligence, competitive intelligence, security, internal investigations and external investigations.

Jack’s projects include a 5 year-long patent investigation in China, which led to successful legal action in Europe and the US, and secured his client’s global intellectual property rights and market share. Jack has managed over 300 due diligence projects in Asia, for a range of situations including M&A, private equity buyouts and pre-IPO. Jack also supports large Asian corporates with their outbound M&A projects.

Jack works closely with other MMC operating companies in Asia, to provide clients with a comprehensive solution to challenges and risks of operating in Asia.

Professional Experience

• Law enforcement. Prior to joining Kroll in 1998, Jack served in the Kent County constabulary, engaged in crime pattern analysis and front line policing.
• NGO. Jack has also worked for a London based environmental NGO, investigating the international trade in endangered species.
