Kroll Advisory Solutions names two senior global business development leaders
Strategic roles filled by Michael Herman as SVP and Global Market Leader and Jeffrey Ignaszak as VP and Head of Global Marketing and Communications
NEW YORK, Oct. 2, 2012 – Kroll Advisory Solutions, the global leader in risk mitigation and response solutions, has named Michael Herman and Jeffrey Ignaszak for two key strategic business development roles to accelerate the company’s growth strategy. As SVP and Global Market Leader, Mr. Herman is responsible for identifying market opportunities and developing new and existing client relationships across the entire company. He reports to Kroll Advisory CEO and President Tom Hartley. In the newly created role of VP and Head of Global Marketing and Communications, Mr. Ignaszak assumes oversight responsibility for all of Kroll Advisory’s corporate marketing strategy, brand and thought leadership programs globally. He reports to Kroll Advisory VP & Global Strategy Leader Lee Kirschbaum.
Mr. Herman’s experience spans more than 20 years of senior leadership roles managing global sales and practitioner organizations. Prior to joining Kroll Advisory, he was Managing Director for Blue Ridge Partners, a boutique management consultancy. In this role, he was responsible for both driving sales effectiveness and revenue generation consulting services to portfolio companies of private equity firms and leveraging the firm’s current tools and methodologies to Fortune 500 clients. In the year prior, he founded and led his own firm, Sales Productivity Partners, with a similar focus on providing clients with innovative revenue generation strategies and solutions.

Before starting his own firm, Mr. Herman was a Managing Principal with Deloitte Consulting, where he founded, led and managed the Global and U.S. Sales Effectiveness Practice. In this role, he was responsible for practice strategy, structure, go-to-market approaches, methodologies, scope of services, sales and service delivery models, talent strategy and execution, eminence, P&L and community building. Earlier in his career, Mr. Herman held several sales and business development positions in diverse industries.
Mr. Ignaszak brings extensive marketing and communications experience to Kroll that includes leadership positions in the healthcare, energy and software industries. He joins Kroll Advisory from The Neuvation Group, a firm specializing in strategic marketing, communications and business development consulting for medical device and health-related IT companies, which he founded in 2011. From 2003 to 2011 he was with the Orthopaedics division of Stryker, an $8 billion leader in the global medical device industry, first as Director, Global Brand Communications and later as Director, Marketing Innovation. At Stryker, he worked across the corporation to develop new market research capabilities and build customer engagement programs.

Prior to Stryker, Mr. Ignaszak was General Manager, Corporate & Marketing Communications for GE Energy, where he helped drive growth and diversification across the global energy industry. He managed the global communications and assimilation process for more than 50 acquisitions and helped launch a new business unit resulting in revenues of $350 million in four years. Mr. Ignaszak’s previous assignments include serving as Director of Corporate Communications for Engineering Animation, Inc., where he built an investor communications strategy designed to broaden institutional and retail ownership of the company.
