Protecting your organization from the threat of an active assailant requires a shift in conventional thinking—and fast. To maintain expected duty of care responsibilities, organizations can no longer simply train personnel on how to react to an active assailant but should be dedicating resources to proactively identify potential threats, including understanding the lifecycle of workplace violence and building programs to prevent it in all forms. With workplace violence affecting two million victims and costing U.S. organizations an average of $250 to $330 billion annually, organizations need to ensure that their threat management plans adequately reflect modern day risks.

Kroll Managing Directors Matthew Dumpert, Daniel Linskey and Sherine Ebadi and Crisp Vice President Jon Best hosted this webcast to share their unique perspectives on active assailant incidents as former law enforcement and government leaders and discuss how organizations can prioritize workplace safety by focusing on, detecting and mitigating potential threats before they manifest in tragic violence.

  • Sherine Ebadi, Managing Director and Former FBI Fraud and Financial Investigations Specialist
