Tom Everett-Heath is Kroll’s Regional Managing Director for EMEA. He has management responsibility for Kroll’s offices in London, Dubai, Paris, Moscow, Milan and Madrid.
Tom’s active case work is primarily in the Middle East, where he spent the last 15 years — of which seven years have been spent living in the region — addressing political, economic and business issues. With Kroll’s regional office in Dubai, which Tom established in 2006, he advises government agencies, financial institutions, corporations, multinationals and law firms on regional and global challenges, risks and opportunities.
Tom has worked with clients, helping them identify, understand and manage risks involved in mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance transactions and new market entry. He and his team have specialized in supporting his clients’ management of disputes, sanctions breaches, asset recoveries, counterparty exposure, reputational liabilities, political risk, capital market opportunities and internal fraud reviews.
Tom joined Kroll as a Director in early 2005, having been Editor of the Middle East Economic Digest (MEED), the region’s premier weekly business magazine, where he worked for seven years, and focused his reporting on political developments in the Gulf, and the pan-regional financial services sector.
His first book — “Central Asia: Aspects of Transition” — was published by RoutledgeCurzon in April 2003.
