North America

Jay Sheridan is an Associate Managing Director with Kroll’s Business Intelligence and Investigations practice, based in the New York office. He joined Kroll after working for several years as a police officer with both the New York City Police Department and the Westchester County Department of Public Safety. At Kroll, Jay manages the coordination of all aspects of security services for high-net-worth clients and has extensive experience with labor and construction monitoring assignments in the private and public sectors.

In addition to providing security services for private clients, Jay has also worked with numerous large-venue, client-sponsored events and functions, several of which had high potential for disruption due to local adverse public opinion issues. He has also been involved in the coordination of security services for numerous union elections, which have also had the potential for disorder and turmoil by opposing union officials and members.

Jay currently coordinates personal executive protection assignments throughout the United States for high-net-worth Kroll clients. This includes the close personal protection for both the client executive as well as family members of the executive and their residences, and implementation of a security plan for the executive and his/her family while traveling or at home.

Jay has also been involved in several long-term monitoring assignments at Kroll, including oversight of the New York City garment trucking industry, local labor union elections and activities, Long Island’s carting industry, and various construction projects within the New York tri-state area. He has been active in several counterfeiting investigations that involved the execution of civil seizure orders at various locations throughout the United States and resulted in the securing of counterfeit products for use as evidence in litigation. Jay was also involved in a well-publicized, long-term undercover investigation relating to the illegal sales of firearms throughout the United States.
