Lisa Carey

Chief Human Resources Officer, Kroll and Corporate Risk Holdings, LLC

Lisa Carey is Chief Human Resources Officer for Kroll and its parent company, Corporate Risk Holdings, LLC. Lisa has more than 25 years of diverse experience as an industrial/organizational psychologist and HR leader developing talent and building strong partnerships and high-performing teams to help drive growth at multinational firms. Prior to joining Kroll, she was Senior Vice President of Human Resources at Cengage Learning (formerly Thomson Learning) from 2007 to 2012, where she led HR for numerous business groups and international locations, and the talent management and internal communications functions. Before Cengage, Lisa was National HR Leader for the Enterprise Applications segment of Deloitte Consulting. Lisa joined Deloitte from Philip Morris USA, where during her 10-year tenure she held management roles of increasing responsibility both as a generalist and in several HR functional areas. Earlier in her career, she served in HR research roles for five years with IBM.

Lisa earned both a Master of Arts degree and Ph.D. in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Hofstra University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the State University of New York at Albany.
